Hash Brown Sausage Bake

1 package (20oz) shredded hash brown potatoes, thawed
1 tsp beef bouillon granules
12 oz reduced fat bulk pork sausage
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 cup fat free cottage cheese
2 eggs+ 2 egg whites, slightly beaten
1/2 cup reduced fat cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine the hash browns and the bouillon. Press on the bottom and up the sides of a 10 inch pie plate that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are slightly browned.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook sausage and onion over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink. Drain.
In a large bowl, combine the sausage mixture, cottage cheese, eggs and cheese. Pour into crust. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting.
