Hamburger Noodle Soup

1 ½ lbs. Lean ground beef
½ cup diced onion
2 stalks celery, sliced
2 carrots, sliced
7 cups water
2 Tbsp beef bouillon granules
1 envelope au jus mix
2 bay leaves
? tsp pepper
2 cups small egg noodles
Cook hamburger, onion, carrots, and celery in a Dutch oven until hamburger is brown. Drain fat and return meat mixture to pan. Add remaining ingredients (except noodles) and bring to a boil. Add noodles and cook for 10-15 minutes or until noodles are tender. Discard bay leaves.
8 servings, each serving has 198 calories, 6g fat, 10g carbohydrate, 24g protein, 1g fiber
