Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake

This is a rich dessert that tastes even better than the original higher fat version. The original version had 587 calories per slice (ours has 341 calories) and 45 fat grams (ours has 27 fat grams). Still, best to be enjoyed only occasionally and with 15 friends.
CRUST:
1 ½ cups crushed chocolate wafers cookies
5 Tbsp butter, melted
COOKIE DOUGH:
2 Tbsp butter, softened
2 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp packed brown sugar
1½ tsp water
½ tsp vanilla extract
¼ cup flour
¾ cups miniature chocolate chips, divided
FILLING:
16 oz reduced fat cream cheese, softened
8 oz fat free cream cheese, softened
¾ cup sugar
2 eggs
2 egg whites
8 oz fat free sour cream
½ tsp vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350°. In a small bowl, combine cookie crumbs and butter. Press into the bottom and sides of a 9 inch spring-form pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Set aside.
For cookie dough, combine butter and sugars with a mixer for 2 minutes. Add water and vanilla and blend. Gradually mix in flour. By hand, stir in ½ cup chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls onto crust.
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs and beat until just combined. Add sour cream and vanilla and beat until just combined. Pour over cookie dough into the crust. Bake 45-55 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool on a cooling rack for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining chocolate chips. Allow to cool completely. Refrigerate overnight.
